The African Resilience and Development Organization (ARDO) is an independent, registered non-governmental, non-profit civil society organization founded in 2017. Based in Somaliland, ARDO is also registered in the Somali Region of Ethiopia, with a regional headquarters in Jigjiga.

ARDO works to strengthen the capacity of vulnerable and marginalized communities through humanitarian assistance, social services, community empowerment, and sustainable development programmes. Our approach places communities at the centre of identifying needs, designing solutions, and building long-term resilience.

We work with communities, local institutions, donors, and development partners to improve livelihoods, expand access to essential services, promote inclusion, and create lasting positive change.
